What’s Included
- Review of installation details with the customer before work begins
- Unboxing and inspection of the new over‑the‑range microwave for visible damage
- Disconnecting the existing OTR microwave, including electrical and ductwork
- Verifying existing venting is present, properly aligned, and compatible with the replacement unit, with no modifications required
- Checking manufacturer clearance requirements to ensure proper spacing to combustibles
- Mounting and securing the microwave according to manufacturer specifications using existing mounting locations
- Adjusting exhaust fan orientation, if required, for existing ducted or ductless configurations
- Connecting and sealing to existing ductwork, if applicable
- Installation of anti‑tip or support brackets if supplied with the appliance
- Plugging into an existing, code‑compliant electrical receptacle
- Testing full operation, including microwave heating, exhaust fan, lights, and controls
- Verifying the appliance is properly grounded and fully operational
- Final cleanup of the immediate work area, including breaking down installation packaging and placing materials aside for customer disposal

- Installation of new electrical outlets or modification of existing electrical supply
- Structural changes, cabinetry modifications, or wall reinforcement
- Venting modifications, ductwork changes, or new venting installation
- Installation of units requiring significant alterations to fit the existing space
