Selecting the incorrect unit type may result in additional charges, delays, or rescheduling to ensure proper installation and safe operation.
What’s Included
- Review of installation details and site conditions with the customer before work begins
- Unboxing and inspection of the garage door opener for visible damage
Installation & Mounting
- Installation and secure mounting of the opener based on the selected configuration:
- Overhead units: Mounted to the ceiling using existing structure and manufacturer‑supplied brackets
- Side‑mount units: Mounted to the wall beside the garage door and connected to the torsion bar system
- For side‑mount installations, verification of adequate wall clearance and proper torsion bar alignment and compatibility
- Securing the unit using appropriate mounting hardware and brackets
Power & Accessories
- Connection to an existing 110V electrical outlet within 3 ft of the motor
- Installation and configuration of accessories, including wall controls, remotes, wireless keypad, and exterior key lock
- Installation of emergency release where required (e.g., single‑entry garages)
- Installation of light bulbs (supplied by the customer)
Safety & Setup
- Installation and alignment of safety sensor eyes
- For overhead units, additional structural support (back‑hang) may be required depending on ceiling height and configuration (additional charges may apply)
Testing & Completion
- Testing of opener operation, safety features, and all accessories to ensure proper function
- Final cleanup of the immediate work area, including breaking down packaging materials and placing them aside for customer disposal
What’s Not Included
- Pick‑up or delivery of the garage door opener
- Disposal of existing opener or packaging
- Electrical upgrades, rewiring, or relocation of power outlets
- Structural modifications or reinforcement beyond standard mounting
- Supply or installation of additional materials not included with the opener (e.g., back‑hang brackets, rail extension kits, mounting hardware)
- Garage door maintenance, lubrication, or mechanical repairs
Important Disclaimer
This service applies to installation using existing structural support and electrical connections. If the mounting surface, ceiling structure, or torsion bar system is not suitable for the selected opener type, the service may not be completed.
This service includes only the work explicitly described above. Any additional structural reinforcement, electrical work, or compatibility adjustments may require additional charges or a separate service.
All work is performed in accordance with applicable safety standards. Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, provincial, and federal codes, by‑laws, regulations, and any associated permits or fees.
We reserve the right to decline or stop service if conditions are unsafe, inaccessible, or non‑compliant.
